Screen-Free Summer week 5 challenge: Move More!

Use everyday things from around the house or garden to create a course that gets everyone moving.

Make it as simple or as challenging as you like, with different things to crawl under, jump over, balance along or weave between. Then see if everyone can make it from start to finish.

What could you include in your obstacle course?

There are no rules, so use whatever space and equipment you have available. You could try:

You can build your course indoors or outside, and adapt each challenge to suit your family’s ages, abilities and the space you have.

Ways to make it even more fun:

The aim isn’t to be the fastest or best — it’s simply to get moving, have fun together and enjoy some time away from screens.

What could you win this week?

Build your family obstacle course and enter the prize draw for the chance to win one a family prize bundle:

How to enter the week 5 prize draw

Once you’ve completed the challenge, share a photo of your obstacle course — or another way your family has been getting active together this week — tag us @madeformums and use #MFMScreenFreeSummer.

Every valid entry will go into the draw for the chance to win a family activity prize. We’d especially love to see entries full of creativity, teamwork, screen-free fun and families making memories together. Terms & Conditions apply.

We’ll also be sharing some of our favourite Screen-Free Summer entries across our social channels throughout the summer.

Can your family complete the course?

You don’t need special equipment or loads of space to get everyone moving. Grab some cushions, blankets and whatever else you have to hand, build your course and see what challenges your family can come up with.

Ready, set, go!
