The Momcozy Cocosway 3D Motion Swing is a tech-led take on the classic baby swing. Suitable from birth, it's designed to soothe babies with a choice of six different motion patterns, music and adjustable seating positions.
Its velvety-soft seat has head support and a five-point harness, while a hanging toy above the chair offers extra sensory interest as your baby relaxes.
At £249.99, it sits at the pricier end of the baby swing market, but this tech-enhanced option is a good choice for parents who are looking for more motion settings and customisation than a basic bouncer or rocker.

About our parent tester
Katie tested the Momcozy Cocosway 3D Motion Swing with her baby from around 6 weeks old to 3 months old. It was used mainly in her open-plan living and dining room, where it gave her baby a supervised place to rest and relax while Katie was getting on with everyday tasks, including helping her older daughter get ready for school and cooking nearby. Katie has more than 10 years’ experience as a journalist, writing for titles including Raconteur, BBC Work/Life and Women’s Health. She has reviewed a wide range of family and lifestyle products for The Independent, Evening Standard and Expert Reviews, from school shoes to cribs.
How easy is the Momcozy Cocosway 3D Motion Swing to assemble?
It was really straightforward to set up the swing. There was some strength required to lock some of the pieces into place, but I managed to do it with relative ease.
The only part I struggled with was attaching the seat to the chair base, as the material had to be pulled very taut for the zip to fasten at the top and bottom. That aside, assembling the product was very simple and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

How easy are the Momcozy Cocosway controls and remote to use?
The control panel on the base of the swing is very easy to use, and is operated by touch. The panel includes:
- On/off button
- Six motion buttons
- Music button
- Volume button
- Duration button
One drawback is that the swing turns off automatically after a maximum of 45 minutes. This sudden cessation of movement would sometimes wake my baby. You can work around this by resetting the timer before the 45 minutes is up, although that does mean keeping an eye on it.
We found the remote worked best when used close to the chair, at which point it felt just as easy to use the control panel on the swing’s base. Plus, we also found that its slimline dimensions made it easy to lose.

How often did you use the Momcozy Cocosway baby swing?
I used the swing at various points during the day, primarily when my baby was ready for a rest or I needed a secure, supervised place to put her down while I did something else nearby.
For example, it was handy to pop her in the swing while I was getting my older daughter ready for school, and on occasion I also pulled it into my kitchen so my baby could watch me while I cooked.
It became my baby’s main place to rest downstairs. My older daughter loved sitting on the floor next to her when she was in the chair, holding her hand and reading her stories. (Which was great for me while I was making breakfast or tidying up toys!)
I also really liked that the seat could be spun around 180 degrees and offered three angles, meaning my daughter’s position in the chair could be adapted to what was going on and what she needed.
Is the Momcozy Cocosway comfortable for young babies?
My baby seemed very comfortable and content during supervised rest periods in the chair.
The head support area is padded, while the seat itself is a combination of breathable mesh and a super-soft velour-style material.
The elephant toy hanging above the chair also helped keep my baby entertained when she was awake, and we also used this area to attach a couple of other small sensory toys.

Do the Momcozy Cocosway swing motions feel smooth and natural?
Yes. Momcozy says the chair’s 3D motion technology is designed to mimic the way parents comfort their babies, and in testing the swing motions felt smooth and jerk-free. Movements available to choose from include:
- Up and down
- Left to right
- M shape
- Figure 8 shape
- U shape
- Carousel motion
For me, this range of motion was one of the swing’s biggest strengths. It highlighted how handy the product can be for parents who need to go hands-free, whether they’re helping older children, doing housework or simply sitting down with a coffee for a few minutes.
The speed changes were noticeable but extremely subtle: there’s no jerking or lurching.
How good are the built-in lullabies and white noise?
They were great: not so loud that they took over the room, but clear enough to help soothe my daughter. I also liked that they didn’t sound tinny or too repetitive.
There are eight tracks in total, including gentle lullabies, piano music, rain sounds and white noise.
Does the Momcozy Cocosway feel secure and stable?
It definitely feels very sturdy: its two large rounded legs lie flat on the floor and helped the swing feel stable, even when my baby wriggled.
The five-point harness felt secure in testing and was easy to put on and remove. I felt reassured that my baby was held firmly in place while I was nearby.

Is the Momcozy Cocosway easy to move and store?
The swing is more bulky than it is heavy, and it isn't especially easy to move from room to room.
Due to its design, it’s quite tricky to pick up without feeling like you might damage it. With that in mind, I tended to keep it between our living/dining area and kitchen, rather than carrying it any further.
It needs to be plugged in for the motions/music to work, so wherever you decide to position it, it will need plug access.
It also doesn’t fold, so it’s best suited to families who have space to leave it set up.
How easy is the Momcozy Cocosway baby swing to clean?
When my daughter’s nappy leaked, the cover was easy to remove and put in the washing machine. It washed well, dried quickly and was simple to reattach to the chair afterwards.
I also spot-cleaned certain areas with a spray product after some milk was spilt on the seat. Again, this was fuss-free and the chair looked good afterwards.
What does the Momcozy Cocosway look and sound like at home?
It felt like a stylish addition to our home rather than an ugly-but-functional piece of baby equipment.
In terms of noise, there is a discreet buzzing noise when the swing is in motion, but this very quickly becomes inoffensive background noise. (Or it did to me, anyway!).
What’s in the box?

- Chair components
- Remote control
- Plug

Is the Momcozy Cocosway 3D Motion Swing worth the money?
I think it offers good value if you’ll make regular use of the 3D motion settings, music and adjustable seat positions.
There are cheaper baby swings and rockers that offer some of this functionality, but the Momcozy Cocosway feels strong as an all-round package if you’ll make use of the motion settings, music and adjustable seat positions.
The 3D movement was the standout feature for me, as it allowed the swing to offer a wider range of parent-style motions than a more basic rocker. I also really liked the range of customisation for the chair’s position; it can be spun around 180 degrees, and can also be adjusted to three different tilt angles.

MadeForMums verdict: should you buy the Momcozy Cocosway 3D Motion Swing?
I would definitely recommend the Momcozy Cocosway 3D Motion Swing. It’s a fantastic addition to a modern home that’s not just stylish, but thoughtfully designed to create a secure, cosy space where babies can relax.
I think it would best suit busy parents who frequently find themselves torn between holding the baby to get them to settle and trying to do other things, whether it’s getting older children ready for school or cooking meals.
What impressed me most was how well it combined gentle-feeling motion with soothing music, making it a useful hands-free soothing option during busy moments at home.
However, if you’re not too bothered about the movement and the music, and just want somewhere to pop your baby while they rest, you will be able to find cheaper options out there.
