The Inglesina Quid³ is a lightweight travel stroller that goes some way to justify its premium price tag. It lives up to its billing as an travel-ready and city-friendly option, handling all sorts of urban environments with ease while also proving an excellent choice for plane travel. It folds down small, our baby seemed comfortable in it, and the seat offered a good space for naps, with the mesh peekaboo window making it easy to check on her without disturbing her.
At £349, the Inglesina Quid³ sits in the premium compact stroller market, alongside models such as the Bugaboo Butterfly 2, UPPAbaby MINU V3 and Joolz Aer2. It is lighter and cheaper than some of these rivals, while still offering an ultra-compact fold, one-handed open and close, integrated shoulder strap, reclining seat and ventilation features.
The Inglesina Quid³ is available in Lunar Beige, Planet Green and Cosmic Black, which is the colourway we tested. We did not receive or test the additional car seat adaptors, travel bag or rain cover.
About our parent tester Jake is a writer and editor with more than a decade of journalism experience, specialising in sport. He tested the Inglesina Quid³ with his partner and their 7-month-old baby across day-to-day life in London, as well as on trips to the English coast and Portugal. During testing, they used it on pavements, kerbs, cobbled streets, grass, riverside paths, busy streets, beachside walks and public transport, including trains and buses.

How easy is the Inglesina Quid³ to assemble?
The Inglesina Quid³ required very little assembly and took around 5–10 minutes to set up using the clear instructions.
The pram comes mostly intact in the box, with just a few parts, including the wheels and bumper bar to click into place.
How easy is the Inglesina Quid³ to fold and unfold?
The Inglesina Quid³ is easy to fold and unfold and feels smooth and intuitive once you have practised the mechanism a few times.
To fold the pram, you press in the lock and release buttons on the handlebar, then lift the handle until the pram folds out and clicks twice.
The pram locks in place and is self-standing when folded, making it practical for home life with limited storage.
It is less practical to fold when you’re out and about, however, because it won’t close properly if there is anything in the storage basket — which there often is on a day out.
It is possible to fold the pram one-handed, although if you are holding your baby, changing bag or shopping, then it can become a little tricky.
How compact is the Inglesina Quid³ when folded?
Weighing in at just over 6kg, the light frame and compact fold are where this pram excels. We stored our pram unfolded in our living room and it felt much more compact than our previous Ickle Bubba pram.
It fitted well on public transport, including trains and buses, and when folded it was compact enough to fit under a table or in a car boot.
The storage basket does need emptying before folding, which can be a bit of a faff day to day, but the payoff in terms of space saving is worth it.
The shoulder strap is fairly comfortable and was fantastic for freeing up valuable arm space when carrying up and down stairs.
How does the Inglesina Quid³ push and steer around the city?
We found the pram suited city life and travel really well – being both nimble and stable, it ended up replacing our previous Ickle Bubba Stomp pram for everyday use.
Steering one-handed was easy when the pram was lightly packed. With a full basket, steering was more affected and often required both hands, but we found that placing heavier items at the rear of the storage section minimised any impact on steering issues.
We were very happy with the suspension – it handled cobbled streets, tree roots and uneven paths really well without bothering or waking our baby. It coped with kerbs but manoeuvring them took a little getting used to. As with many travel strollers, the handle position gives you slightly less leverage than on a larger buggy, so mounting higher kerbs takes a bit more effort.
The basket is also quite low, meaning there can be a bit of a catch when mounting higher kerbs.

How does the Inglesina Quid³ work on public transport?
We had very few issues on public transport. The frame fitted well on narrow buses, which had been a struggle with our previous pram, and it was easy to manage in and around the airport.
We never needed to fold it on the go, but had we needed to the main issue would have been having to empty the storage basket in order to do so.
How practical is the Inglesina Quid³ for holidays and plane travel?
We gate-checked the pram because we had used our luggage allowance for a car seat, but the airline crew were happy to check it into the overhead storage had we needed.
Once we’d got the hang of the folding mechanism, it was simple to fold at the gate. One thing to note for gate-checking is the stroller bag does not come with the pram and requires purchasing separately.
On the go, the pram was incredibly practical. Our wriggly, pram-averse baby was much happier in this than we expected, as she was less constricted than in the Ickle Bubba Stomp she was used to. With separate arm and leg straps, it was much easier to strap her in than we were used to, and she loved resting her feet on the bumper bar.
Being easily reclinable, she also had some great naps on the go. We also really appreciated the mesh window, which helped us keep an eye on her without catching her eye (if you know, you know!) and it also helped with ventilation on particularly hot days.
How comfortable is the Inglesina Quid³ for babies?
As mentioned above, our energetic baby was prone to protest in her previous, more constricting pram. She was much more comfortable in this.
She started sitting independently around a month into testing, and we appreciated that she could sit upright comfortably in the seat. The harness fitted well and was easy to adjust and seemed very secure.
The recline feature is incredibly easy to use – just one strap at the back to lower it to any height you like. Our daughter had several successful naps – assisted by a SnoozeShade – in the pram, both in England and abroad.
One downside was when she fell asleep with the pram in her favoured fully upright position her head flopped forward, but with the mesh window it was easy to catch this quickly and adjust to a more reclined position.
What is the hood and ventilation like on the Inglesina Quid³?
The hood comes with an additional zipper to pull the canopy further forward for added sun protection. This extends well down to cover much of the child’s face and upper body, although we found in our testing that it doesn’t quite shield down to the knees.
We tested it during a heatwave, so in peak sun we used an additional muslin or SnoozeShade to cover our baby’s legs. The mesh peekaboo window was invaluable for keeping an eye on our daughter, especially as she was falling asleep.

How much can you fit in the Inglesina Quid³ basket?
For a travel pram, we were impressed at how much the basket could hold. We regularly leave the house with a picnic blanket, food, bag of toys, books and other baby essentials in the basket, with a little extra room for any additional shopping.
We usually carried our changing bag separately, although we could squeeze it into the storage basket when needed.
Like any pram, items in the basket require some strategic placing in order to minimise falling out, but we were pleasantly surprised with how accessible items in the basket felt.

Is the Inglesina Quid³ worth the money?
If your budget will accommodate, the Inglesina Quid³ is worth the money for families looking for a lightweight, compact and travel-friendly pram.
It is undoubtedly a premium option, but its compact fold, light weight and strong performance across city settings make the price feel more justifiable. It folds down small, performs well on many everyday surfaces and is practical on public transport.
It became practical enough to replace our previous pram for everyday use, which helped justify the price tag.
Where can I buy the Inglesina Quid³?
It is available from Beautiful Bambino and Baby Boutique
What’s in the box?
- Stroller frame and seat with shoulder strap
- Stroller wheels
- Extendable canopy
- Bumper bar
- Safety harness
- Storage basket
- Instruction manual
Does the Inglesina Quid³ have any sustainability features?
This pram is a sustainable option, arriving in a small amount of packaging. It is made from non-toxic materials and feels durable enough to last for years or for multiple children.
Parts like the wheels and bumper bar are detachable and therefore can easily be replaced without needing to replace the whole pram.
MadeForMums verdict
We would recommend the Inglesina Quid³ for families with a comfortable budget, looking to make the most out of city adventures. The lightweight, compact and travel-friendly design made travelling on public transport and in busy areas easy, while it was comfortable to store at home, even when space is a premium.
However, parents who regularly tackle rough terrain, higher kerbs or need to carry a lot of items in their pram may be better choosing a full-size stroller for their day-to-day activity.
