The Bestway Xtreme Air 12ft Trampoline, Ladder & Enclosure is a generously sized garden trampoline designed for families who want a sturdy, fun and reassuringly enclosed space for children to bounce. It features a high safety enclosure, water-resistant padding, a ladder, anchor kit, ClickConnect poles and Bestway’s QuickSpring tool, which is designed to make assembly easier.
For families with enough outdoor space, the 12ft size is one of its biggest strengths. It gives children plenty of room to bounce, practise tricks and burn off energy, while the enclosed design and high netting help offer extra peace of mind for parents.
At £299.99 RRP, it sits in the mid-range for a large family trampoline. It’s more expensive than budget 12ft options such as the Galactica 12ft Trampoline Set With Enclosure, £169.99, but comes with useful extras including a ladder, anchor kit, foot pads and the QuickSpring assembly tool.
We tested it with 2 children, aged 6 and 8, to see how it performed for setup, stability, bounce quality and everyday family use.

About our parent tester
Emily tested the Bestway 12ft trampoline with 2 of her children: Arthur, 8, an avid footballer who loves having friends over and Connor, 6, a full-time performer and part-time bouncing machine. Together, they tested everything from assembly and daily use to bounce quality, design, safety features and build quality. Emily, mum of 3, may or may not have also sneaked on for a bounce once the kids were in bed.
How easy is the Bestway 12ft trampoline to assemble?
Let’s start with the bit everyone dreads: assembly. Surprisingly, it was actually pretty painless.
With 2 adults, we had the whole thing up in just under an hour, which honestly felt like a parenting win. The QuickSpring tool is a total game-changer and makes tightening the base far easier, and less finger-pinching, than you might expect. The ClickConnect poles also help keep things straightforward, although the frame can be a little fiddly to balance while building, so this is definitely best tackled as a 2-person job.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and no extra tools were needed beyond the QuickSpring tool included in the box. My only small gripe is that the parts come a bit jumbled in the boxes rather than organised by step, which slowed things down slightly during assembly.

How easy is the Bestway 12ft trampoline for children to use?
Once it’s up, the trampoline is incredibly easy to use. The zip entrance is simple and easy for children to manage independently, and the kids quickly got into the habit of zipping themselves in and out, with minimal nagging required – always a bonus.
The ladder is a little steep, so less confident children may need close adult help when climbing on and off.
The zip buckle clips are also quite easy to undo, meaning children may be able to access the trampoline without help. That wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to note if you have little escape artists.

How sturdy and stable does the Bestway 12ft trampoline feel?
The trampoline feels very sturdy and stable in use. We didn’t notice any wobbling, even with enthusiastic bouncing, and the frame feels solid and well built.
The high netted enclosure is a standout feature. It’s genuinely tall enough that even my 6ft brother couldn’t bounce higher than the top of it, much to his disappointment. The fully enclosed design gave me good peace of mind, especially with enthusiastic children keen to get on and bounce.
How much fun is the Bestway 12ft trampoline for children?
In one word: brilliant.
The 12ft size makes a huge difference, giving children plenty of space to bounce, practise jumps and burn off energy. It has been in constant use since it went up, from football “training” sessions to full-on performance routines.
My older children had enough room to bounce properly, practise jumps and play simple games, while the zip entrance was easy for them to manage independently.
And yes, the adults have tested it too. Thoroughly.

How does the Bestway 12ft trampoline perform in daily use?
The trampoline has been used multiple times a day, with no signs of the novelty wearing off. It’s not squeaky or noisy, and it feels like a really easy way to get the children outside and active.
For us, it has become one of those garden additions that gets used without needing any encouragement. The children are on it before school, after school and whenever friends come over.

How weather-resistant and easy to maintain is it?
The trampoline feels suitable to leave outdoors long term. Water runs off easily, and the dark colour means it doesn’t show weather marks too obviously.
It’s also easy to keep clean. The mat wipes down well with water and a cloth, although, as with any garden trampoline, you can’t avoid birds being birds. We placed ours near trees, so leaves and debris do collect on the mat and it needs a quick sweep most days.
I haven’t noticed any parts needing regular tightening so far. Long term, I imagine it will need a proper clean after winter to spruce it up, but that feels like a small price to pay for the amount of use it gets when the weather is good.
What is the design and build quality like?
The Bestway 12ft trampoline really delivers on both looks and durability. It feels solid, secure and well built – the kind of garden addition that isn’t going anywhere in a hurry, regardless of how enthusiastic the bouncing gets.
The overall design is clean and practical, with everything feeling thoughtfully put together. The water-resistant padding, high enclosure and included anchor kit all add to the sense that it has been designed with family use in mind.
There are a couple of small niggles. The ladder is quite steep for younger children, and the zip opening is a little on the small side, making adult entry slightly less graceful than you might hope.
What features stood out most?
The high enclosure was one of the most reassuring features for me. It feels tall and secure, and gave me confidence while the children were bouncing.
The QuickSpring tool was another standout. It made assembly much easier than expected and saved a lot of time and effort compared with other trampolines we’ve built.
The 12ft size is also a real plus for families with the garden space for it. It gives children plenty of room to bounce, practise jumps and enjoy active outdoor play.

What’s in the box?
- Trampoline frame
- Bouncing mat
- Water-resistant padding
- Safety enclosure net
- Ladder
- Anchor kit
- Feet padding
- QuickSpring tool
Is the Bestway 12ft trampoline worth the money?
For the size, quality and sheer amount of use it gets, this trampoline offers excellent value for money. At under £300, it feels very cost-effective for a large family trampoline.
It feels like a long-term investment rather than a one-summer wonder, and anything that keeps children happily entertained outdoors deserves bonus points in my book. For families with the space for a 12ft trampoline, I think it’s absolutely worth the money.
Where can I buy the Bestway 12ft trampoline?

MadeForMums verdict:
The Bestway 12ft trampoline has been a huge hit in our house and garden. It’s well designed, sturdy and genuinely easy to assemble, especially with the QuickSpring tool. Most importantly, it delivers on fun, while still offering the reassurance of a high enclosed design.
It’s an ideal choice for families with enough outdoor space to make the most of its generous size. There are a few small drawbacks, including the steep ladder, easy-to-open buckle clips and the fact that debris can collect if it’s placed near trees, but these are minor compared with how much use it gets.
If you’re looking for a reliable, family-friendly trampoline that will keep children active and entertained for hours, this one is a winner.
