The Easter holidays are officially underway for many families this week, and with half-term plans in full swing, the cost of feeding hungry little ones can quickly add up.

If you’re heading out for family days out over the school break, there’s good news. Plenty of family-friendly restaurants and supermarket cafés are offering ‘kids eat free’ or £1 meal deals across the UK right now.

From pizza pit stops to post park burgers, here’s where you can stretch your budget further and still keep everyone happy.

Why Easter is a great time to look for meal deals

School holidays often mean more meals on the go, and that can put pressure on your weekly food shop, especially once half-term activities are in full swing. Luckily, many popular chains roll out family-friendly offers during the Easter break to help parents manage costs.

Whether it’s a free kids’ main with every adult meal or a £1 café deal, these offers can make spontaneous lunches or planned dinners far more affordable this week and beyond.

Deal-sharing platform Hotukdeals.com regularly rounds up the latest family food promotions across the UK. You can browse their Easter deal megathread here to see what’s available near you.
