Whether you're expressing regularly, building up a freezer stash or combining pumping with feeding, a double electric breast pump can save precious time. The downside is that buying one can be a significant investment, which makes this Amazon deal worth knowing about.

The Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump is currently £99.98 at Amazon, down from its £149.99 RRP. That's just over £50 off, or a 33% saving.
It's also a pump that's already impressed MadeForMums parents. The latest Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump was named Joint Gold for Best Electric Breast Pump in the MadeForMums Awards, after being put through its paces by breastfeeding parents.

As the name suggests, this pump lets you express from both breasts at the same time, something that could prove particularly useful if you're pumping frequently. You can also switch to single pumping when that suits you better.
There are 5 massage levels designed to help initiate let-down, followed by 9 expression levels, so you can adjust the suction to find what works for you.
The rechargeable battery offers up to 90 minutes of cord-free pumping, according to Tommee Tippee, while the closed system is designed to prevent milk flowing back through the pump.
It also connects directly to compatible Tommee Tippee bottles, with two 150ml Natural Start bottles included in the box.
Why did the Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump win Gold?
MadeForMums parent testers Clara, who tested the pump with her 4-month-old George, and Jennifer, who was in her first month of breastfeeding, both put the latest model through its paces for our awards.
Clara was able to assemble it in under 2 minutes and particularly appreciated the choice of flange sizes and included measuring chart, while Jennifer liked being able to switch between double and single pumping depending on what she needed that day.
That choice of fit is worth highlighting. The latest pump comes with 6 flange sizes, ranging from 13mm inserts through to a 24mm flange, plus a nipple measurement guide to help you choose.
That's a notable development from the previous Tommee Tippee Made For Me Double Electric Breast Pump we tested. Our reviewer Sharna Valentine found that older model comfortable and efficient overall, but the single flange size didn't provide the right fit for her.
How did the previous Tommee Tippee double pump perform in our review?
While this Amazon deal is for Tommee Tippee's newer model, we've previously carried out an in-depth test of its predecessor, the Tommee Tippee Made For Me Double Electric Breast Pump.
That pump scored an impressive 4.6 out of 5, including 5 out of 5 for durability, 4.7 for ease of use and 4.5 for both comfort and value for money.

Sharna tested it while exclusively breastfeeding her 7-month-old daughter and found double pumping made a noticeable difference to how quickly she could express.
I was able to pump 180mls in 12 minutes, which was faster than I expected. Having only used single pumps previously, this pump was definitely a timesaver and I was able to build up a much needed freezer stash quickly.
Sharna Valentine, MadeForMums reviewer
There were drawbacks. Sharna found the older pump louder than she'd expected and would have liked a carry case. Most significantly, its one-size flange was too large for her.
The latest version's 6-size system therefore stands out as a particularly useful change, although fit and pumping experience will naturally vary from person to person.
You can read about our experience with the earlier version in our full Tommee Tippee Made For Me Double Electric Breast Pump review.
Is £99.98 a good price for the Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump?
At its £149.99 RRP, this is a sizeable purchase. Amazon's current price brings it just below the £100 mark, saving you £50.01.
For that, you're getting a double electric pump with single-pumping flexibility, 6 flange sizes, 14 massage and expression settings in total and up to 90 minutes of cord-free use.
Crucially, the current model has also already earned Joint Gold in our Best Electric Breast Pump category after hands-on parent testing.
If you're planning to pump regularly and have been specifically looking for a double electric model, £99.98 is a deal we'd consider, particularly given the flexibility over flange sizing and the performance of Tommee Tippee's double pumps in our testing.
