Pregnant Vogue Williams managed to convince Heart Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakston that she was about to give birth at work, and his response has earned him plenty of praise.

The mum-of-three, who is expecting her fourth child with husband Spencer Matthews, pulled off the elaborate prank during the breakfast show on Monday 10 August. Vogue secretly burst a water balloon beneath her chair, making it look as though her waters had suddenly broken in the studio.
And while Vogue knew there was no imminent arrival, Jamie most definitely didn't.

Jamie immediately sprang into action
Footage shared by Heart on Instagram shows Vogue suddenly exclaiming, “Oh my God!” after bursting the balloon.
Jamie immediately came over to check on his pregnant co-host, asking: “You alright?”
As Vogue continued to pretend something was wrong, Jamie switched straight into practical mode and began working out how to get her out of the studio and on her way to hospital.
“We'll go downstairs and get a taxi out the back,” he told her.
Vogue then complained that her back was sore, prompting an increasingly concerned Jamie to ask where her husband was.
“Where's Spenny at the moment?” he asked.
“I don't know. I don't know where he is,” Vogue replied.
She then suggested that walking out of the studio might not be an option, telling Jamie: “I don't know how I'm gonna walk down to a car. You might have to literally wheel me on this chair.”
For any parent who's experienced the unpredictability of those final weeks of pregnancy, Jamie's calm response to what appeared to be a very sudden labour will probably look pretty impressive.

Vogue finally revealed the prank
Just as Jamie appeared ready to help Vogue leave the building, she revealed what was really going on.
“Got your ass!” she exclaimed.
“Oh, you're kidding me!” Jamie replied as he realised there was, thankfully, no dash to hospital required.
Vogue quickly admitted that his reaction had left her feeling a little guilty, before giving him full marks for handling the apparent emergency so calmly.
You are so nice. I feel really guilty. Well, you know what? If anything ever went wrong, I'd like you to be there. You're very calm under pressure. Well done

Fans loved Jamie's reaction
Jamie wasn't the only person caught up in the moment. After Heart shared a video of the prank on Instagram, viewers were quick to praise the presenter's calm approach.
Presenter Sian Welby joked in the comments: “I work on the floor below and from this moment on, if there’s any emergency I’m going to get Jamie Theakston.”
Other viewers were equally impressed, with one writing: “Oh Jamie, he is so lovely,” while another commented: “Brilliant, so funny! Well done Jamie so calm.”
When is Vogue Williams' fourth baby due?
Vogue and Spencer announced in April that they are expecting their fourth child together, with the baby expected in late summer or early autumn.
The couple, who married in 2018, are already parents to three children, Theodore, Gigi and Otto.
While Vogue's latest labour moment was all for laughs, the prank has certainly shown that if the real thing happens while she's at work, she has at least one seriously unflappable colleague nearby.
