Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have confirmed they are now parents of two, sharing the first glimpse of their new baby in a Instagram post.

The couple shared a photo of their hands holding their baby's tiny hand, alongside the caption: "hi little guy!"

The announcement confirms reports that the couple had welcomed their second child through adoption, just over a year after they became parents for the first time.

The announcement also appears to confirm that their newest addition is a boy.

Millie and Jake have previously been clear about wanting to keep their family life private.

When they announced the arrival of their first child in August 2025, Millie wrote: "This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy."

The couple have welcomed both children through adoption

Their second child arrives just over a year after their first, a daughter.

Millie has previously spoken about how adoption was something she had dreamed about since she was a child.

During a June interview on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, the Enola Holmes star said she had "always" wanted to adopt.

"It was always part of my childhood dreams," Brown shared at the time. "Every time I was at home and I was, you know, 5, 6 years old, my parents were like, ‘You had your baby dolls.’ They were all adopted. I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant."

She also clarified that adoption does not mean she has ruled out carrying children herself in the future.

"It's not because I don't want that. Hopefully one day that's in my future."

Speaking about what adoption means to her, Millie added: "Adoption is love, adoption is forever."

Millie and Jake are now a family of four

The couple began dating in 2021 and married in May 2024, with Stranger Things actor Matthew Modine officiating their wedding.

They became parents the following year when they welcomed their daughter, and have now quietly grown their family again.

There was a possible glimpse of the couple's growing family earlier this month, when Millie shared a video from a trip to the Dolomites in Italy. In the footage, Millie was seen carrying her daughter while Jake appeared to have a baby carrier strapped to his chest. The newest addition was kept out of view.

Now, the couple have confirmed their second baby's arrival with their first public photograph, although they have chosen to keep his face private.

Millie and Jake have both spoken about growing up in families with several siblings, with Millie previously discussing her hopes of having a "big family" of her own.

Their family life has also developed alongside Millie's busy acting career. The fifth and final season of Stranger Things concluded in late 2025, while Enola Holmes 3 arrived on Netflix in July 2026.
