Half term starts today, here’s where kids can eat free or for £1 across the UK.

February half term has officially arrived, and for many families today marks the start of a week juggling work, childcare and plans to keep little ones entertained.

If you are heading out for a family day trip, soft play session or cinema treat, the cost of food can quickly mount up. The good news is that plenty of restaurants, pubs and supermarket cafés are offering kids eat free or £1 meal deals to help parents keep spending in check.

From high street favourites to budget-friendly supermarket stops, here is where you can make the most of family dining deals from today.

Restaurants where kids eat free or for £1

Casual dining chains

Angus Steakhouse – Kids under 8 eat free every day from 12-5pm with a full-paying adult.
ASK Italian - free kids meal with every adult main using code from ASK Perks app from 8 - 22 Feb.
Banana Tree – Free kids' meal from 15 - 20 Feb with an adult main.
Bella Italia – kids aged 2-11 eat free (three courses + drink) with an adult main from 16 - 20 Feb.
Bill’s – Up to two kids eat free weekdays (16th-20th February) when an adult orders a main.
Brewdog – Kids eat free with an adult main (8-20 Feb - first week most of Scotland, second week England, Wales, Glasgow and Edinburgh). Pre-booking Kids Eat Free menu required.
Côte Brasserie – two-course kids’ meal for £1 with every full-price adult main course or a kids’ breakfast for £1 with every adult hot breakfast or Brasserie Breakfast. From 16 - 20 February. Offer available exclusively via the app.
Cafe Rouge – Kids eat for free with the purchase of any adult main meal, every day from 12pm - 4pm
Franco Manca – One under 12 gets a free individual kids pizza for every full-priced adult main meal from Mon - Thursday.
Frankie and Benny's – Kids can eat for free with every adult main meal purchased, all day during school holidays.
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants – Free kids' meal (under 10s) when adult orders 2 courses from the à la carte menu at selected locations.
Las Iguanas – kids’ meal free (main, dessert and drink) with the purchase of an adult main course from 15 - 20 Feb.
Marco Pierre White Restaurants – Kids under 12 can get a free main with each full-paying adult main course from the a la carte menu, throughout school holidays (excluding Saturdays after 6pm).
Pizza Hut – Free kids' buffet after 3pm (£1 before 3pm)– use code KEF with £10 adult spend.
Preto – One child up to 10 years old eats free per full-paying adult (fill in your details on the website and download voucher first). All weekend and weekdays from 4pm.
Purezza – One kid under 10 eats free (mini pizza with one topping) with every full paying adult, every day.
The Real Greek – Free kids' meal from 16 - 22 Feb when an adult spends £15.
TGI Fridays – Kids eat free with an adult main if you're a Stripes Rewards member.
Zizzi – Free Bambini meal with the purchase of each adult main meal when you download the app and join the Zillionaires' Club from 16 - 22 Feb.

IKEA – Kids’ meals from 95p daily from 11am.

Heathrow Airport – Free kids' meals (14-22 Feb) with an adult main at participating restaurants.
Premier Inn & Travelodge – Up to two free kids’ breakfasts with a paying adult.
Ok Diner – Kids under 10 eat free all day with an adult main (except A1 locations).
