The promoter is Immediate Media Company London Limited (company number 06189487) (the “Promoter”).
The promotion is open to residents of the UK and Channel Islands aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, LG Electronics, their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
The promotion opens on 17:00 Thursday 17th September and closes at 23:59 on Thursday 24th September. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
To enter, entrants must comment on the relevant competition post on the MadeForMums Club Facebook page and answer the question: “What’s your best hack for lightening the mental load and making more time to enjoy family life?”
Only one entry per person is permitted. Bulk entries, automated entries or entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
By entering the promotion, participants agree:
- to be bound by these terms and conditions;
- that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win the prize, subject to clause 14 below;
- that, should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes; and
- that the comment or response submitted as part of their entry may be quoted, reproduced, edited or otherwise used by the Promoter in MadeForMums editorial, social media and commercial content created in partnership with LG, with or without attribution.
Entrants must ensure that their entry is their own original contribution and does not contain material that infringes the rights of any third party. Entrants should not include sensitive personal information about themselves or other individuals in their entry.
The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy.
The prize is 1 x LG AI Direct Drive F4X7011TBB WiFi-enabled Washing Machine, with an 11kg capacity and 1400rpm spin, with an RRP of £799.
The winning entrant will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the closing date. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into.
The Promoter may share the winner’s details with LG and/or the relevant prize fulfilment provider solely for the purposes of arranging and delivering the prize.
The winner will be notified within 7 days of the close of the promotion via a direct message or reply from the MadeForMums Club Facebook page. The winner may be required to provide their full name, delivery address and other information reasonably necessary to arrange delivery of the prize.
If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to respond within 28 days of notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
The surname and county of residence of the winner will be available upon request by sending an SAE to Immediate Media Co, LG AI Competition, 44 Brook Green, London, W6 7BT within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winner before releasing this information and give the winner the opportunity to object to or limit the amount of information shared.
There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances outside its control make this necessary.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage if deemed necessary, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or otherwise not received for reasons outside its reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the promotion or from the winner’s acceptance or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Entrants’ details are being collected and used by the Promoter, not by Facebook. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Meta. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to release Facebook and Meta from any liability arising in connection with the promotion.
The promotion is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
