The Silver Cross Jet 5 offers premium quality and features for a mid-to-high price range. Depending on where you live, for example if you live in a city or a town, this stroller can be used as both an everyday and travel buggy, doubling its value and making it an even better investment.

MFM reviewer Harriet, who tested the Silver Cross Jet 5 with her 6-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: The Silver Cross Jet 5 is an ultra-lightweight, compact and stylish pushchair that we would recommend to people looking to use it for travel and/or urban life. While it has a few minor drawbacks – limited basket access, a sun hood that could be longer, and some struggles on rough terrain – for us, its convenience, quality, and practicality outweigh these issues.

2 pictures of parents pushing Baby Jogger City Select 2

Overall, I found the City Select 2 handled busy city life and train journeys just as easily as it did countryside walks, and I would continue using it.

MFM reviewer Tui, who tested the Baby Jogger City Select 2 with her 4-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: If you’re looking for an all-rounder carrycot and pram bundle that comes in at slightly cheaper than some of the other best-known brands, this is well worth your consideration. It's a great pushchair for people who want a pushchair that can handle all but the bumpiest terrain, but don’t want to commit to a full 3-wheeler jogging pram.

Although it’s at the mid to upper end of the price scale for travel buggies, I think the Silver Cross Clic 2 is absolutely worth the money at £295. It feels like a high-quality piece of kit that will last, and its lightweight and compact design make it excellent for travelling as well as everyday urban use. I would recommend it to parents with babies from 6 months up to toddler age.

MFM reviewer Lucy, who tested the Silver Cross Clic 2 with her 8-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: We're huge fans of the Silver Cross Clic 2. It’s incredibly light, incredibly compact, and very easy to push. For holidays or weekend trips, it’s perfect. Opening and closing it is quick and easy, and our reviewer's baby seemed happy in it for long periods of time.

Family testing Hauck Runner 2 pushchair in field

The Hauck Runner 2 has been worth every penny for us! I’m no longer getting stuck and having to carry a pushchair over every bump — using it is an absolute breeze and it has been well worth the investment. I think it's excellent value, especially when you compare it to similar 3-wheel all-terrain pushchairs that are at least double the price.

MFM reviewer Shauni, who tested the Hauck Runner 2 with her 13-month-old daughter

MadeForMums verdict: If you're looking for a reliable, all-terrain buggy that will glide over tricky ground with ease, the Hauck Runner 2 is a really great option. Although you may have to deal with a very low basket, heavy folded buggy and a sometimes-fiddly brake, the comfort the buggy provides for its passenger as well as its superb off-road handling makes it a fantastic offering for families who love to explore the great outdoors, without spending too long lifting the buggy over mud and bumps!

2 pictures of reviewer pushing BabyStyle Oyster Gravity+ on a gravelly path

The standout feature of this pram is its amazing canopy – it unzips to offer extra coverage, and it even includes a flip-out visor to protect against that pesky winter sun when it’s low in the sky. It also boasts all-round suspension, which means your baby will be sat in optimum comfort on even uneven terrain.

MFM reviewer Kayleigh, who tested the BabyStyle Oyster Gravity+ with her 6-month-old and 3-year-old daughters

MadeForMums verdict: Our reviewer said she had gone through a few different prams over the past 3 years or so, and this one was easily her favourite. It’s parent-facing yet still lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, all while providing plenty of comfort for baby (and toddler!) without sacrificing any style points. The XL sun canopy and decent storage basket are the icing on the cake!

2 pictures of reviewer pushing Joolz Aer2 pushchair

The Joolz Aer2 is very lightweight, which means that even when transporting an older child it is responsive and easy to manoeuvre. I was able to steer it one-handed on busy streets and up and down kerbs. It is a breeze to get on and off buses, and the four-wheel suspension ensures the rider does so in comfort. The wheels were one of the areas Joolz improved on this latest iteration of the Aer stroller and I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it rolled over grass during trips to the park. Even the sand strewn paths in the playground posed no problem for this stroller.

MFM reviewer Ellen, who tested the Joolz Aer 2 with her 2 month old and 3 year old children

MadeForMums verdict: We were very impressed by the sleek styling, easy manoeuvrability and incredibly smooth fold of the Joolz Aer2. Robust enough for everyday use and small enough for long-haul travel, we would recommend the Joolz Aer2 to parents looking for a lightweight, compact stroller that will take them through from baby to toddler. This pushchair is especially well suited for city dwellers, frequent travellers and public transport users.

Baby sitting in UPPAbaby MINU V3 pushchair and reviewer pushing baby in the pushchair

With features that enable it to grow with your child, it offers great value for money and, thanks to the sturdy engineering, feels like it could be part of your family for years to come. Sleek, stylish and spacious, the UPPAbaby MINU V3 folds down to a truly impressive size and is a great option for city dwellers or frequent travellers.

MFM reviewer Steph, who tested the UPPAbaby Minu V3 with her 6-month-old daughter

MadeForMums verdict: For parents looking for a pram for travelling or use in an urban environment, the MINU V3 ticks all the boxes. It feels like the brand has thought deeply about what this parent needs from a pram and made vast improvements on the old model, building on the features that made the MINU V2 so popular. It’s strongest judged on its portability and practicality – the child’s ride is best on smooth surfaces, so there’s some room for improvement on comfort.

If your front door is wide enough and you have somewhere to stand/store it in the house, I would highly recommend the Ickle Bubba Venus Prime Double stroller bundle because of the numerous ways and ease with which it can be adapted for growing families.

MFM reviewer Harriet, who tested the Ickle Bubba Venus Prime Double stroller with her 2-month-old and 2-year-old sons

2 pictures of baby in iCandy Pip on train platform and on train

The iCandy Pip pushchair feels strong and durable, and there’s an array of unique, bold colourways to choose from that make it feel like a premium choice. The metal frame is glossy and the material has a slight sheen giving it an air of quality. But it’s more than style over substance – the smoothness and stability of the ride prove how well made this model really is. The hood feels high quality too, as does the padded liner. Even the brake is thoughtfully designed, wider than most to make it flip-flop friendly.

MFM reviewer Steph, who tested the iCandy Pip with her 10-month-old daughter Sydney

MadeForMums verdict: The iCandy Pip is a great pushchair overall, with lots to offer families including a smooth ride, portability and style in one neat little package. It’s a great choice for urban parents needing a stroller that can weave through busy streets and hop on and off public transport, and for frequent flyers needing a stylish but compact pram for holidays.

2 pictures of UPPAbaby Vista V3 pushchair in double mode

I will only ever recommend a product if I genuinely like it, and I LOVE the UPPAbaby Vista V3. It is without a doubt the best single and double travel system I have used, and I have tested a lot of the options on the market. Everything from the design allowing you to adapt it from a single to double and the quality of the materials to the ease of use and the way it drives and handles, makes it worth every single penny.

MFM reviewer Rob, who tested the UPPAbaby Vista V3 with his 4-month-old and 2-year-old sons

MadeForMums verdict: For our reviewer, this pushchair brought back the joy of getting out and about with his family. He said he used to get stressed with managing days out with both of his boys – including loading everything in the car so it fits, getting from A to B without stopping every few minutes and struggling to manoeuvre the pushchair. The Vista V3 has removed all of that stress and anxiety. Game-changer.

Reviewer pushing Silver Cross Reef 2 pushchair on cobbles

The Silver Cross Reef 2 is an all-terrain pushchair and I found it coped well with grass, gravel and cobbles. My daughter was perfectly happy, even on the bumpiest terrain, and on smooth tarmac it was super easy to push, and I could steer it comfortably with one hand. I also appreciated the fact that it was very quiet with no intrusive rattles, making it a pleasant experience for long walks.

MFM reviewer Sarah, who tested the Silver Cross Reef 2 with her 5-month-old daughter

MadeForMums verdict: If you’re looking for a premium all-terrain pushchair that’s stylish, robust, easy to fold/unfold and has quality materials then you should definitely consider the Silver Cross Reef 2 pushchair. It feels made to last, although it's worth factoring in the extra cost of the carrycot (if you want to use it in this configuration) as well as the space you'll need to fit everything in your boot. Perfect for using around town and on country walks, it's a great all-rounder.

The seamless movement and sheer manoeuvrability of the Nipper V5 make it a real joy to take out, particularly over muddy or rough terrain. It wouldn’t be great for city dwellers or those who have to go up lots of flights of stairs on a daily basis as it is certainly not the lightest buggy on the market, but it is very versatile and lovely to push and steer with great suspension.

MFM reviewer Miranda, who tested the Out'n'About Nipper Single V5 with her 2-month-old daughter

MadeForMums verdict: Our reviewer called the Nipper V5 a 'breath of fresh air' and was really impressed with how pleasant it is to push and steer and its versatility in being used on all sorts of different terrains. It would be ideal for an older baby who could sit front-facing and for a family who would be able to make use of the jogging functionality.

Reviewer running with Cybex Avi Spin pushchair

For parents who want a single buggy to cover everyday life and jogging it’s a strong investment. It’s not the most affordable, but the quality and comfort justify the price. I would recommend it to active parents who value style and functionality in equal measure. It’s versatile enough to be your main buggy if you don’t mind the larger wheels, but it also works brilliantly as a dedicated jogging/outdoors pushchair.

MFM reviewer Harriet, who tested the CYBEX Avi Spin with her 11-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: We’d recommend the CYBEX Avi Spin to active parents who want a stylish, smooth pushchair for outdoor runs and day-to-day errands. This pushchair is best suited to active and outdoorsy lifestyles, perfect for parents who split their time doing park runs and family walks. Its biggest strength is its smooth, stable ride over bumps and kerbs, paired with a quick, super-easy fold. The main trade-offs are its larger wheels, which can feel bulky in tight spaces, and the amount of boot space it takes up.

This stroller is sefinitely most suited for parents living in a city. The one-handed, one-touch folding mechanism is ideal for families who need to get going quickly. The stroller's small size and light weight make it ideal for compact storage, be that at home, out and about or on public transport.

MFM reviewer Lou, who tested the Leclercbaby Influencer Air with her 7-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: The Leclercbaby Influencer Air is a stylish everyday stroller for parents living in cities, looking for stress-free transport for their little ones. It misses the mark a little on some points of practicality, but overall is a terrific buggy to use and can't be faulted for being a city stroller tested in the forest. Its one-touch folding mechanism came into its own when venturing into the city via public transport.

The Stretch car seat is also not just a good choice if you need to transfer it between vehicles regularly, thanks to its lengthy installation process. It also doesn’t use ISOFIX, which may also put some people off. However, overall the BeSafe Stretch feels like an incredibly safe, reassuring and comfortable car seat and I would highly recommend it — if you have the space and budget.

MFM reviewer Jenny, who tested the BeSafe Stretch car seat with her 8-month-old and 4-year-old children

MadeForMums verdict: The BeSafe Stretch is a premium-priced car seat but offers high levels of comfort and many safety features, especially the fact that it’ll keep your child extra safe rear-facing until they are 7 years old, which is very reassuring for any parent. While it might be big on safety, it’s also big in general, both in size and weight, making it unsuitable for smaller cars.

2 pictures of child asleep in Nuna Arra Flex car seat

Overall, I’m impressed by the Nuna ARRA Flex. My son seemed happy in it, and the good safety features are reassuring for us as parents. The recline feature is the selling point for me, as it takes the stress out of having to plan rest stops at set times. For our family, these features, along with the fact that the car seat can adapt as our baby grows, make it a good option.

MFM reviewer Lucy, who tested the Nuna ARRA Flex with her 7-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: The seat’s premium features come at a price, but if safety, comfort and long journeys are primary concerns, it might be worth the splurge. It’s worth buying the base alongside the seat, as it makes it far easier to get baby in and out of the car, and it feels much more secure when baby is strapped in. Plus, it’s compatible with car seats up until baby is 4 years old, so you’ll get your money’s worth. Combined, the 2 come to almost £500, so it's certainly a considered purchase, but one I think really makes life with a little baby easier.

What you get for the money is also good too – the swivelling action is a delight to use if you're used to more traditional car seats so that alone is perhaps worth paying for. It also seems very well made, sturdy and safe for the money.

MadeForMums verdict: There's a lot to like about the Kinderkraft i-360. It's easy to use, with the swivelling action making it super-easy to get your child in and out of the car. For a budget product, I thought this was great value. It appeared higher-end and though I’ve only had it for two weeks, it does appear as though it is built to last. It washed up well and is suitable for cars with or without ISOFIX.

MFM reviewer Lynsey, who tested the Kinderkraft JUNIOR FIX 2 i-Size car seat with her 3 children

MadeForMums verdict: We thought this car seat was excellent value. It appears like a much higher-end product, has lots of safety features to keep your child safe and is spacious and comfortable for both long and short journeys. We loved the 10-point adjustable headrest, which will allow this car seat to grow with your child. We do think it is better suited to children at the lower and mid end of the recommended age range, so do try it first if your child is especially tall.

As the Elevate is suitable for a wide age range, you can buy once and not need to worry about buying another car seat. Its price means it is a good buy for families who have a range of different financial situations.

MFM reviewer Helen, who tested the Joie Elevate R129 car seat with her 4-year-old son

MadeForMums verdict: The Joie Elevate R129 is a brilliant car seat for the price. It meets the most recent safety standards and grows with your child, meaning that you need only make one purchase from toddler age through to 12 years old. It is easy to install, easy to adjust and lightweight enough to make it easy to take in and out of cars without too much effort. Reviewer with car seat and Avionaut Maxspace car seat installed in car with child sitting in it

The MaxSpace AirFlow is one of the pricier high back booster seats on the market, but you certainly feel as though you’ve got a lot of seat for your money considering how strong, durable and robust it feels. It is designed to last too, growing with your child, and the fact that the fabrics retain their shape and texture even with repeated washing means the seat will withstand years of daily use without looking worn-out. So, while it is a little bit more expensive than other booster seats, it is definitely worth it for the quality.

MFM reviewer Cher, who tested the Avionaut MaxSpace AirFlow car seat with her 5-year-old son

MadeForMums verdict: This car seat has been designed to last, and offers unbeatable comfort and protection. The fact that it has recline positions, is comfortably roomy, and made from temperature regulating materials makes it a great choice for parents happy to spend a little bit more in order to benefit from high quality features.

Baby in Maxi-Cosi Mica car seat

Overall, I’m a big fan of this car seat and think the convenience is worth the price tag. This may not be the cheapest option out there, but the standout feature is obviously the slide technology. MFM reviewer Hannah, who tested the Maxi-Cosi Mica 360 Pro car seat with her 2 boys

MadeForMums verdict: If you’ve ever had to battle in the wind and rain with a little one who doesn’t want to get into their seat then paying a bit more for a seat that spins with next to no effort, is easy to strap them into and you can save your back feels worth the money. The Maxi-Cosi Kore Pro i-Size has been a game-changer, particularly for our busy mornings. Even when I’m in a rush, it’s stress-free and easy to use. I always struggled to remove my daughter's last car seat, but when Elodie asked to travel in her friend’s car to a play date, it took a matter of minutes to remove and install the Kore Pro in a different car. My mini-tester gives it a big thumbs up and has already told all her friends about her new car seat, which lights up!

Its slimline design features an open space at the bottom of the car seat so not only can kids easily climb in, but their buckle is within a short reach of a little arm. The seat’s stylish design should appeal across the age group with the added bonus of the ClickAssist for anyone whose younger children may be struggling to fasten their own seatbelt.

MadeForMums verdict: The Joie Roomie Go is compact, comfortable and remarkably quick to assemble and fold down. If you’re looking for a portable crib with an option to keep little ones within arm's reach while they sleep, the Joie Roomie Go is an excellent choice.

Nanit Pro camera, Complete Monitoring System + Sound and Light Machine parts

The Nanit Pro Camera provides crisp, clear, high definition pictures, and performs well even in low light at night. The audio is equally good, and picks up early cries before they turn into full blown screams! One of the other standout features is the app's sleep analytics, which gave me insight into how long it took my baby to get to sleep, how often we needed to pick her up for a cuddle in the night and her most common sleeping position, which is shown as a movement map.

MFM reviewer Sarah, who tested the Nanit Pro Camera and Sound + Light Machine with her 9-month-old baby

MadeForMums verdict: If you’re tech-savvy and want to take a data-led approach to manage your baby or toddler’s sleep, and like to set routines, then the Nanit Pro Camera is a worthwhile investment. The Breathing Wear offers extra peace of mind and the Nanit Insights genuinely are helpful. If you're after an upgrade on the usual white noise/night light set up, the Nanit Sound + Light Machine has all the bells and whistles, as well as working as an audio baby monitor via the app.

Baby lying in Red Kite Snooze Crib

This bedside crib really surprised me, and you can't deny that it's value for money. It's the perfect, good-quality all-rounder for anyone with a newborn who doesn't want to spend too much.

MFM reviewer Rachel, who tested the Red Kite Snooze Crib with her 2-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: The Snooze Crib is ideal for parents looking for a safe sleeping option for their newborn. It is very competitively priced compared to some similar models. However, you'd never guess it was such a bargain as it feels sturdy and looks very stylish.

Ickle Bubba Mini Rocker Crib next to bed

The overall compact size, quick fold and carry bag make it a great travel cot. As it is so quick and easy to fold down and lightweight, that makes it very portable. Folded down in its travel case, it was easy to carry and fit in the boot – great for staying with grandparents.

MFM reviewer Harriet, who tested the Ickle Bubba Mini Rocker Crib with her 5-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: The Ickle Bubba Mini Rocker Crib does exactly what its name suggests – at £99, it's not the cheapest bedside cot on the market but it's compact, lightweight, smart and very portable, making it a great option for travelling with newborns and for using both in the bedroom at night and living space in the day, especially if you are short of space in the home.

Corner view of Ickle Bubba Hartley Classic Cot

It's definitely a good-value bundle, especially given that the cot is larger than most cots and offers some serious longevity. The fact that the under drawer isn't attached to the cot means it can be used when you transition your child to a cot bed – extra storage is always going to be useful, so as a family, you'll never 'grow out' of this. I also think the choice of mattresses, suiting all kinds of budgets, is an affordable addition, too.

MFM reviewer Sarah, who tested the Ickle Bubba Hartley Classic Cot and Under Drawer with her 8-month-old baby

MadeForMums verdict: If you have room for a large cot and you love minimalist design, then the Ickle Bubba Hartley Classic Cot and Under Drawer might be the one for you. With three mattress heights, easy access storage, classic Scandi-inspired style and offering roomy sleeping space for a growing baby, it packs a lot into its competitive price tag. If you're happy to stick with a cot as opposed to a cot bed for the foreseeable future, it's a great investment.

View of baby on LeapFrog LF2936FHD baby monitor

Overall, I would highly recommend this baby monitor to any parent. This is the best baby monitor I’ve used and although the price tag may seem a bit steep to some, it is definitely worth the money for the quality and durability.

MFM reviewer Kim, who tested the LeapFrog LF2936FHD baby monitor with her 10-month-old baby

2 pictures of parent monitor of Momcozy 5-Inch Dual-Mode Smart Baby Monitor on worktop

It comes packed full of features you'd find in more expensive monitors. The only thing that this model seems to sacrifice is a detailed sleep analysis, however I think it more than makes up for this with live temperature and movement monitoring.

MFM reviewer Harriet, who tested the Momcozy BM04 5in Dual-Mode Smart Baby Monitor with her 10-month-old son

MadeForMums verdict: A comprehensive product with a competitive price tag, the Momcozy BM04 5in Dual-Mode Smart Baby Monitor impressed from the start with its sleek, stylish design that feels as modern as it is practical. The 2K camera offers a high-quality viewing both day and night, making every check-in feel reassuringly close. But its real standout feature is the dual-mode functionality that gives parents the freedom to monitor with or without Wi-Fi. Whether you’re home or away, connected or offline, this monitor offers flexibility for the unpredictability of parenthood.

Baby on Motorola Nursery VM85 Baby Monitor screen

This monitor and camera are high-quality, have some lovely features, and I never once had an issue with reliability. In comparison to other products at the same price point, I feel the features sit on a level with the others. If you want to just keep an eye on your baby, then there are certainly cheaper products on the market which allow you to do just that. But if you want the additional features such as the lullabies/audiobooks, zoom, pan and tilt and great connectivity, then this is one of the best on the market.

MFM reviewer Rob, who tested the Motorola Nursery VM85 Connect baby monitor with his 7-month-old son Ollie

MadeForMums verdict: The Motorola Nursery VM85 Connect baby monitor is reliable, robust and comes with a host of features. The key for a monitor is that it allows you to monitor your baby. Does this product have all the bells and whistles? No. But it does exactly what you need it to do, both at home and away.

Unboxing LeapFrog LF4917 7” Smart Video Baby Monitor and looking at parent monitor

Despite some small niggles, this is the best monitor I have used. Combining excellent image quality and sensitive audio with unique features like colour night vision and that customisable nightlight, you get more than just a great monitor for your money. All that plus remote access and an accurate temperature sensor makes the LeapFrog LF4917 7in Smart Video Baby Monitor a product worth the spend.

MFM reviewer Steph, who tested the LeapFrog LF4917 7in Smart Video Baby Monitor with her 11 month old

MadeForMums verdict: For parents willing to make an investment on a sophisticated product, you can’t do much better than this. It allows you to simplify your baby’s sleep set up by combining a monitor, nightlight and sound machine so you get more for your money. Plus with that long lasting battery you aren’t constantly moving a charger around the house, which makes life way easier.

I found the Medela Harmony Flex Manual Breast Pump to be extremely effective and comfortable – and with an RRP of £25, it offers incredible value considering how much it has helped my pumping journey. Using this pump has restored my confidence when pumping and I now feel like I have more control over the strength and length of each pump, compared to the other pump I was using before.

Cushy Puff pregnancy pillow | 4.5 stars

You can buy the Cushy Puff pregnancy pillow at Cushy Puff (£145)

2 pictures of Cushy Puff pregnancy pillow with reviewer using it and pillow on bed

It’s an item with longevity: I’ll be keeping it around long after pregnancy and breastfeeding as it’s a lovely household accessory. I went for the pink and red-striped ‘Raspberry Ripple’ edition, an in-vogue colour combination I’m currently seeing on everything from pyjamas to ceramic planters. Aside from its winsome aesthetic, the Cushy Puff’s mouldability puts it above the more bog-standard pregnancy pillow I’ve tried previously.

MFM reviewer Laura, who tested the Cushy Puff pregnancy during her 3rd trimester of pregnancy

MadeForMums verdict: If you’re willing to stretch your budget and think you might use it beyond the pregnancy and breastfeeding phases, the Cushy Puff is a worthy investment. It’s an adaptable, comfy, snuggly pillow that you can be proud to show off in your home.

A brother and sister playing with a Yoto Player

Now we've had this for some time, it truly is one of our most-used items and I often recommend it to others looking for a 'big present' for a toddler or preschooler. It's much more than just an audiobook reader (which was my preconception). If you'll use the various features, it could even be quite cost-effective (a separate white noise machine, trainer clock and nightlight quickly add up).

Former MFM reviewer Gemma, who tested the Yoto Player with her 3-year old son

MadeForMums verdict: A surprisingly versatile and expandable device that keeps kids away from traditional screens and encourages a love of books, stories and songs in all forms. For parents, the additional features may be handy in the early years, adding to the overall value, and for kids the familiar characters and stories give it instant appeal. Frequent updates to the app and a growing library for Yoto Cards mean there's always something new to explore, but it is a big investment, and the cost continues as you add cards.

toniebox 2 unboxing 1

Veronica is delighted with her Toniebox. She particularly likes the games so I'm glad that functionality was added! We've had it for a couple of weeks and it's still the first toy she wants to play when she wakes up and when she comes back home from preschool.

MFM tester Paulina, who tested the Toniebox 2 with her 3-year-old daughter Veronica

MadeForMums verdict: Put simply, the Toniebox 2 is pretty much perfect. There aren't many devices that are suitable for such a wide age range and with as much play potential as the Toniebox 2, especially ones that don't include a screen. The Toniebox was already a great product but this new generation fixes most of the issues we did have with the older model, while adding some fantastic new features that make it a must-buy gadget for your home.

MFM reviewer Theviya, who tested the Nuna LEAF grow bouncer with her 7-week-old son and 4-year-old son

levoit sprout air purifier product overview shot with phone showing app

If you're looking to create the most comfortable and clean environment in your home then the Sprout is a great pick for you. It might not be the cheapest air purifier on the market (or the quietest at high fan speeds) but it does pack in some excellent features alongside great performance. Parents who want to use the latest and greatest tech to optimise their home for their family will definitely want to add the Sprout to their setup.

MFM Digital Content Creator Matt

MadeForMums verdict: Overall, the Levoit Sprout air purifier might be a jack of all trades but that doesn't mean its a master of none. This is a premium, sleek and sturdy air purifier/night light/white noise machine combo with exceptional performance and fantastic app control. If you can swing the extra cost, this is one Sprout you won't want to throw in the bin.

Lenovo Idea Tab with Pen

Yes. The Idea Pad is a fantastic overall tablet for the money. It is comparable to Apple's base model iPad in so many areas, making it a bargain at over £100 less than Apple's cheapest tablet. It's not as cheap as some other options on the market like Amazon's Fire Kids tablet range, but that extra bit of money gets you so much more. Not only does it have better build quality than the Fire tablets and an included stylus, you also get a much wider range of apps and services thanks to the Google Play store.

MFM Digital Content Creator Matt

MadeForMums verdict: I've tested a lot of different tablets for MadeForMums and few have impressed me as much as the Lenovo Idea Tab. This is the perfect study companion thanks to the fantastic screen, great speakers and impressive (and included!) stylus. No matter what stage of schooling your child is embarking on, the Idea Tab makes for a great back-to-school tablet.
